Seyed Mojtaba Abtahi made the remark at a press conference in Tehran on Monday, adding that the school of resistance keeps gaining more dignity.

He said the anniversary of General Soleimani’s martyrdom is going to be commemorated this year as we have recently witnessed the martyrdom of a number of dear figures who were close to General Soleimani.

They include Former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, former Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, as well as resistance figures Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Sayed Hashem Safieddine, and IRGC commanders Razi Mousavi and Abbas Nilforoushan, he noted.

Abtahi noted that commemoration ceremonies are going to be held in Iran and a number of other countries from December 30, 2024 to January 5, 2025, during a week dubbed “Week of Resistance”.

He said there will be various programs held during the week, including cultural and art events.

The main program, which will be organized on January 3 at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) in Tehran, will be addressed by senior officials, Abtahi went on to say.
